Junior Cert Students with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra
Tuesday 21st October at 10.15am and 12 noon.
The RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Gearoid Grant, will perform a master class that will cover the set works for the Junior Cert syllabus. Tenor Emmanuel Lawler will feature in the programme of music that will include explanations and performances of Overtures (William Tell), Dance Music (Sabre Dance & Feurerfest Polka), Film Music (John Barry scores) , Orchestrally Accompanied Vocal works( Cry Me A River), Illustrative music (Findlandia) and Ballet (Nutcracker) as well as the Junior Cert set works for this year.
The programme will include:

Water Music ( Handel)
William Tell Overture (Rossini)
Sabre Dance (Khatchaturian)
Out Of Africa (Film music, Barry)
Feurerfest Polka (Strauss)
Finlandia (Sibelius)
Nutcracker Suite (Tchaikovsky)
