Message from Sing Ireland

Dear Denise,

I hope this email finds you well. Can I ask you to share this training opportunity with your PPMTA attendees working with young people’s choirs please?

From 9 -15 August, Sing Ireland are delivering a week-long music training at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick. As part of the International Choral Conducting Summer School, this training is designed to support the work of those working with young voices and fostering group singing abilities.  Over the course of this week music teachers will get to immerse themselves in group singing and choral music, particularly in the following areas:

  • Repertoire with an emphasis on picking songs and keys for young voices
  • Techniques and approaches for supporting young vocal health and the musical development of young singers
  • Building confidence in facilitating young choirs
  • Collaboration with fellow educators and connecting with peers
  • A certificate of participation upon completion of the course.

We have an early bird rate for Music Teachers of €489 which is available until May 9th*

To secure your place today, register with this form and select the level: ‘Music Educators of Children and Young People Choirs’.

I would be happy to schedule a call to provide more details if this would be helpful.

Many thanks,

Kind regards,
Kate
