You are receiving this email because you are (or once were) a member of the Post-Primary Music Teachers’ Association (PPMTA).
There will be a meeting of the Galway/Mayo branch of the PPMTA on Wednesday evening May 3rd from 7-9pm at St. Jarlath’s College, Tuam (H54EV84).
The branch meeting will explore teaching and learning strategies for LC Composition (Harmony) at Senior Cycle focusing on how to use the Marking Schemes to develop our understanding and teaching of composing chords and bass to a given melody. The workshop will be facilitated by Carmel Vesey.
Tea/Coffee will be served from 6:30pm; we’d love to see you then for informal chats beforehand. The workshop will begin at 7pm.

Final Reminder: There will be elections for branch representative for both Galway and Mayo taking place at this meeting. Expressions of interest in the role of branch representative should be sent to dmorgan.ppmta@gmail.com
