“Plugged In: Classroom Composing and Arranging using Technology”
This workshop provides hands-on experience of composing and arranging using accessible digital tools. Participants will learn how to facilitate songwriting and performing in the Junior Cycle, Transition Year and the Senior Cycle. During the session, they will use technology to create and layer sounds and to make loops/ostinati. Ideas and tools for recording, arranging, processing and sharing student compositions will be explored. With these skills, Music teachers will be able to give control to their own students, enabling them to make strong musical decisions.
