Monday 30th November @ 7pm: ‘Everyone Can Create Music with GarageBand on ipad’ with Eoin Hughes. Eoin is a Music & Geography teacher and an Apple Distinguished Educator. He teaches in Loreto Abbey Secondary School, Dalkey, Co. Dublin.
There will also be a short discussion based on the Junior Cycle sample paper with Laura Whyte.

In this interactive, virtual workshop, we will learn how to create music with GarageBand and engage in a variety of activities that we can bring back to the classroom.
Activities include: The I, V, vi, IV challenge
Exploring Touch Instruments
Rhythm with the Beat Sequencer
Creating music with the Sampler and the Apple Loops Library
Requirements: As this will be an interactive, virtual workshop, attendees should have:
An iPad, updated to latest version of iPadOS14
GarageBand preinstalled on their iPad and updates to the latest version
Zoom, installed on a second device. Ideally, join the Zoom call on this second device (Laptop, Computer, another iPad, tablet or smartphone) and keep the main iPad free to create music with GarageBand.
