The branch meeting entitled ‘Uke Can Do It Folks (1&2)!’ explores the vast repertoire of Folk Music from Ireland and abroad adapted for Ukulele. This workshop will focus on the versatile use of the Ukulele as a teaching tool in our classrooms; from kickstarters for your beginners to solo and ensemble pieces for performances. This workshop will also support teachers in implementing a structured approach to developing Ukulele technique. Have your instrument to hand to get a grip on technique and discover top tips for teaching and learning the Ukulele. The workshop will be facilitated by Daniel Dunne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please note Daniel presented the \u2018Uke Can Do It Folks!\u2019 workshop at the LLRS\/Midlands branch meeting in February and presented the follow-up workshop \u2018Uke Can Do It 2 Folks!\u2019 at the North-East meeting in early September. At the Dublin Branch meeting on September 22nd \u2013 Daniel will present a combination of pieces from both workshops such as: The Fox, Lil Liza Jane, Caledonia, Down By the Salley Gardens, Grace and Hard Times Come Again No more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
