Dear Music Teacher,
 
We are delighted to announce that our Arts in Junior Cycle Music initiative – \u2018Me and My Music\u2019<\/strong> – is continuing this Autumn 2019 for second-year<\/strong> music students and their teachers. This initiative is supported by the Creative Ireland Programme, Junior Cycle for Teachers (JCT), the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and Sing Ireland.
 
\u2018Me and My Music\u2019<\/strong> will provide music teachers, visiting musicians and second-year students with opportunities to meaningfully engage with learning outcomes from the junior cycle music specification. Together, they will become equal partners collaborating on the creation of a music artefact. This collaboration will encourage creativity based on the expertise of all involved and focused on the student\u2019s talents and needs. Further details here<\/a>
 
To register for this initiative, please talk to your principal or colleague who has the JC Management resource hours and register on  www.jctregistration.ie<\/a> Schools were previously supplied with their username and password details.

A further initiative aimed at first-year music students and their teachers is set to be announced in December 2019. Details will be issued in due course.
