Creative Schools aims to put the arts and creativity at the heart of children\u2019s and young people\u2019s lives and this year 150 new schools will join the programme. Selected schools will receive a package of support in the 2019-2020 school year including an award of \u20ac2,000<\/strong> and a Creative Associate<\/strong> who will work with them to develop and begin implementing their own Creative School Plan. It is anticipated that successful schools will continue to receive a similar package of support in the 2020-2021 school year.<\/p>\n

All Department of Education and Skills primary and post-primary schools, special schools and Youthreach centres across the state are eligible to apply.<\/p>\n

Opportunities for schools<\/strong> to apply open on 19 February and close on 21 March 2019<\/strong>.\u00a0 Schools are encouraged to get on line and register today.<\/p>\n

What schools applying should do now<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Step 1 \u2013 Get online, read the guidelines<\/a><\/strong> and find out more
\nStep 2 \u2013 Register<\/a><\/strong> your school as an organisation\/group<\/strong> with the Arts Council\u2019s Online Services.<\/p>\n

Step 3 \u2013 Apply online<\/a><\/strong> between 19 February and 21 March<\/strong> 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
