{"id":1292,"date":"2024-05-27T16:38:59","date_gmt":"2024-05-27T16:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ppmta.ie\/?p=1292"},"modified":"2024-05-27T16:38:59","modified_gmt":"2024-05-27T16:38:59","slug":"redeveloping-curriculum-for-arts-education-in-irish-primary-and-special-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ppmta.ie\/?p=1292","title":{"rendered":"Redeveloping curriculum for Arts Education in Irish primary and special schools"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A chara,&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The curriculum for Arts Education in Irish primary and special schools is currently being redeveloped, with the finalised version due to be published in September 2025.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the redevelopment process, NCCA is the currently engaging in a widespread consultation on what is now a <a href=\"https:\/\/ncca.ie\/media\/ihsmkm4o\/draft_primary_artseducation_specification_2024.pdf\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">draft curriculum document<\/a> for primary school Arts Education.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope you and your colleagues will consider contributing to the consultation by completing a <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=s-Fcb2jZiUaBpt7a8TpbETUV5TiTtWBPgr-qJxh4bSVURE02WDlGQjNRNlJaRUIzR0pGUllaSFU5OS4u\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">written submission<\/a> and\/or <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/7AWevRYWkW\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">questionnaire<\/a> outlining your thoughts on the proposals for the Arts Education curriculum document.
