DLCS has two events coming up in Dalkey on Sunday 24 March:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Bach to School 2024, a workshop on J.S. Bach’s cantata, Jesu, der du meine Seele<\/em> (BWV 78)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

2. DLCS Spring Concert 2024, which includes gorgeous choral works by A. Vivaldi and J.S. Bach<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop, while geared towards the Leaving Certificate Music exam, is broad enough to be fun and informative for students and non-students alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also an ideal opportunity for students and others to interact with some of Ireland’s leading instrumentalists and soloists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We shall also be performing Cantata 78 in full at the concert, something of a rarity in this part of the world, along with Vivaldi’s exuberant Gloria and two gorgeous Bach motets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
